Analog Fire

Refill from Audio Delicious

At a time when music is reactive and futuristic, it is important to embrace the surroundings while keeping true to the authentic core that defines an artist. ANALOG FIRE sits on the fringes, constantly experimenting, collaborating and searching while holding faithful to their commitment: Pulses, shakes, pounds and soul to keep the crowd moving.

Amidst the endless intricacies of New York City, during an undisclosed period of time within the year 2009, Analog Fire took form. This phantasmal duo is composed of producers Eno Freedman Brodmann and Greg Louisy. Though only two in the studio, they have joined forces with live/electronic percussion artists, using a blend of congo drums on occasion, drum machines and live sets along with guitars and soundscapes to paint the dance floor with new colors and flavors every time.

Risen from nothing but the unholy marriage of a budget laptop and a loop pedal, Analog Fire has surely surpassed above and beyond its humble roots. “Audio Delicious (2009)” the group’s premier LP, exquisitely showcases wide spectrums of musical talent, influence, styling, and tambour. Its tracks come in all shapes and sizes; from short melodies, to lyrical compositions, to grandiose arrangements.

Since the LP, they have released a ‘Refill Remixes’ album, which featured, remixes by Grammy Nominated Genji Siraisi of Groove Collective and Elan Wright of Superfire and Danger Radio. Their new single ‘Mirrors’ was collaboration with London based electronic artist ‘Dux Content’, ‘Superfire’ and Vienna’s native electronic act ‘BLOCKWERK’. They have played all around the East Coast at venues, festivals with a live set up, DJed in clubs ranging from Brooklyn to Berlin, and stripped down to acoustic sets.

With something for everyone, yet distinctly retaining their signature sound across the board, Analog Fire will surely continue to sate the audio driven appetites of the masses.
